Lebaran festival soon will come, and it means there will be tradition cookies everywhere. As I bought two cookies from my friend, I promised him I’ll make the photograph and also the testimonies about it. And this is it photographs of the cookies, kaastengels (Dutch Cheese Cookies) and sagu manis (sweet sago cookies) .
Kaastengels (Dutch Cheese Cookies)
I’m not sure where this cookies are originated or get influenced from, but my guess from it’s name maybe from dutch, but this is only my guess of course. Talking about the taste, it is crunchy with cheesy taste and little bit salty, in overall good. Some variants might have a little sweet taste, and it very depends on the cookies-maker.
Sagu Manis (Sweet Sago Cookies)
Sweet sago cookies, from the ingredients I should say this cookies might be originated from Indonesia. Well not 100% for sure, but at least influenced by Indonesian ingredients Sago (this is native food comes from Eastern Indonesia). The taste of this cookies, dominated by sweet taste with unique texture of sago. In overall I should say, love them both
Tongki
But i believe that the taste will not change, yummy, as always. :p
